Ricky Starks stunned CM Punk during tonight’s AEW Collision , defeating the legend to win the Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament.

After Punk arrived to a big crowd reaction, the match was underway and saw both superstars going at it right from the start. The two traded som headlock takedowns before Starks began taunting Punk with his signature “go to sleep” pose.

After some more back-and-forth between the two, Punk slowly began to gain the momentum, avoiding some DDT’s late and even taunting Starks by dodging a flying elbow with a smile. Late in the match, Punk would hit a hurricanrana from the top, but Starks was able to roll through most of it himself. After trading roll up pins for a moment, Stark then rolled up the pair and used the ropes for leverage, trapping Punk and getting the win.

After the match, Starks quickly moved up the ramp, snatching the Men’s trophy from Jushin Liger (who was on hand to present it) before briefly hoisting it up and running off, leaving Punk and Liger stunned for different reasons.
