Roxanne Perez implies that she will be draft-eligible.

AT NXT Stand & Deliver, Roxanne Perez beat Lyra Valkyria to win the NXT Women’s Championship. Perez then made her RAW debut on the April 8 episode and defeated Indi Hartwell.

Perez opened the April 9 episode of NXT and said the next time the title was taken from her would be when she was selected by RAW or SmackDown in the draft.

Valkyria, whose arm was in a sling, confronted Perez and said that she could go to RAW or SmackDown, but the title would be staying on NXT. She made it clear that she wanted a title shot, but Perez said that Lyra was not cleared to compete. Tatum Paxley showed up and turned on Valkyria as she slammed her shoulder-first into the steel steps.

WWE RAW star Natalya then confronted Perez and challenged her to a title match. Perez initially rejected the challenge, but NXT General Manager Ava booked the match. Perez went on to beta Natalya to retain the title after Lola Vice interfered.

The 2024 WWE Draft will be held on April 26 and 29. NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov has already declared for the draft.
