Two WWE Hall of Famers were backstage at AEW Revolution.

Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE, competed at AEW’s first pay-per-view of the year, AEW Revolution, on March 5. Ahead of the show, Saraya posted a picture of herself standing with The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie Bella) and Renee Paquette, with Dustin Rhodes, backstage at the show.

Saraya, Paquette (formerly known as Renee Young) and The Bellas previously worked together for years in WWE. Likewise, Rhodes had a lengthy run in WWE as well. Rhodes left WWE in 2019 and signed with AEW. Saraya departed WWE when her contract expired in July 2022, and she made her AEW debut on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam in September. Paquette left WWE in 2020 and signed with AEW in October 2022.

The Bellas previously noted that they were set to appear on WWE RAW XXX on January 23, but WWE booked them for a media appearance instead. They openly criticized the company for the lack of acknowledgement of women’s wrestling legends on WWE RAW XXX.

At AEW Revolution, Saraya unsuccessfully challenged Jamie Hayter in a three-way match for the AEW Women’s World Championship that also included Ruby Soho.
