Sean Waltman says he’s going in for surgery to repair a bicep injury.

Waltman returned to the ring on Friday night at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 6, losing a grudge match to Janela. After the match, he revealed he’s currently dealing with a torn bicep that will keep him out of the ring for some time.

“I tried to keep this on the down-low, but I tore my bicep in the tag match a month ago,” Waltman wrote. “I’m going to have surgery soon & then have a few more matches.”

Friday’s match against Janela was Waltman’s second match since returning after having knee surgery last year. The tag match he spoke of was a tag team win with Janela over The Major Players (Brian Myers & Matt Cardona) at GCW Welcome To Heartbreak in February. Janela turned on Waltman after the match, which set up the bout at ‘Spring Break’ in Dallas.

It’s worth noting that after the match, Waltman (billed as X-Pac) took the mic and said he was beat up, but didn’t let on that he was legitimately injured. Waltman told the Dallas crowd that he feels like GCW is family now and promised that he’s not done yet and would come back for a few more matches.
