Never one to mince words, Seth Rollins knocked UFC fighters, such as Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar, who made the jump to WWE.

While making that big statement, it is worth putting out there that he was not dismissive of MMA fighters.

Rather, I think he made a point that is often overlooked. I would argue that perhaps some don’t grasp this point enough, but someone like Rollins is absolutely qualified to say it.

The champion noted that, while some fighters found success in WWE, it was fleeting.

He feels as though talent like Ronda Rousey didn’t ultimately work out for one major reason.

Stamina. Or rather, a lack of the kind of stamina that WWE and it’s grueling schedule calls for.

Seth Rollins Knocks UFC Fighters Like Ronda Rousey And Brock Lesnar

Yes, some major UFC talent have come to WWE. The most obvious being Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey and Matt Riddle.

But, look at those three.

Forgetting that two are out of WWE and one could be banished.

Rousey could never work a full time schedule. When The Beast came back to WWE, he was basically always a part time Superstar.

Riddle was the anomaly, generally working the grinding schedule.

But where Rollins is going with this is so logical. WWE Superstars spend more time traveling and in the ring than they often can in the gym.

For MMA talent, UFC fighters in particular, they tend to work just a few big bouts a year. By contrast, WWE talent could be on a dozen premium live events.

Plus, you know, 50+ RAW or SmackDown shows a year. Plus, maybe the occasional NXT appearance.

Different schedules call for different approaches to their daily lives, and Rollins thinks this is why the transition is so challenging.

But, he welcomes any and all MMA talent if they want to give WWE a try. He just thinks they would hit a similar wall.
