As many of you read over the weekend, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter did not take kindly to Evans' new look on Friday Night SmackDown.

Evans, who served in the United States Marine Corps, came out wearing a Drill instructor cover/hat on Friday and many compared her to Slaughter and some outright said that she stole his gimmick. Others pointed out that Slaughter's gimmick was taken from the United States Marine Corps and while there are no records showing that Slaughter served in the military, Evans did serve for 5 years.

Slaughter's daughter followed up on her initial tweet by saying that she respects Evans for serving but she feels that Evans stole the Cobra Clutch and "now the hat." The Cobra Clutch has been used by countless names, including the Iron Sheik. Slaughter's daughter wrote, "You’ve got my respect for serving our country. I’m talking about the gimmick. Cobra clutch & now the hat. You look ridiculous. #stolengimmick"

Evans fired back: A move is a move. As far as my military campaign cover goes.....come take it. #IllShowYouAFkingGimmick"
