After Vince McMahon resigned from all his roles within TKO, including TKO Executive Chairman and on the TKO Board of Directors, ending his tenure for good, speculation has started about whether Stephanie McMahon could return to the company.

Departure

A year ago, Stephanie announced that she was no longer with the company in an executive role as she had resigned as Chairwoman and co-CEO of WWE, which was after Vince voted himself back to the Board Of Directors before he agreed to be acquired by Endeavor and has since merged with the UFC to form the TKO Holdings Group.

Stephanie previously announced in the summer of 2022 that she was taking a leave of absence from WWE, only to return after Vince’s hush money scandal broke and resigned from his WWE duties.

When she announced her departure for a second time, the story going around WWE was that Stephanie knew it was a matter of time before she was demoted following Vince’s return. She left because she didn’t need the money/job, especially after making the decision months ago to leave anyway.

Internal hope

Following the allegations against Vince from a former WWE employee, some think that she may have heard about just some of the horrific accusations, causing her to leave.

Pwinsider reports there is hope that Stephanie will return to the company now that her father is gone for good. However, it’s unknown how she would fit in with the new ownership under Endeavor.
