Stephanie McMahon is enjoying the festivities in Chicago.

According to a report from Fightful (via Fightful Select), Stephanie was spotted backstage at Saturday’s Survivor Series event in Chicago. It was noted that she was not there in a work capacity, instead hanging out and visiting.

Stephanie has not been backstage much outside of being around for WrestleMania weekend. She stepped down from her role in WWE in January.

“I don’t know what the future holds”

Stephanie McMahon announced she was resigning from her positions as Co-CEO and Chairwoman of WWE on January 10. During an appearance on the Bill Simmons Podcast, WWE President Nick Khan was asked to share his thoughts on Stephanie’s decision to step away from her corporate roles.

“Initially, she was on leave of absence, Some of the Vince stuff started to happen, he stepped out for a moment. She was asked by Vince, by myself, by the board, to come back. She came back, which we were extremely gracious for her in doing so,” Khan said. “And ultimately, when Vince came back, she decided that hey, she was ready to go and step out. I respected the decision, I wish she hadn’t done that, and she knows that from me personally. She’s a terrific executive and a terrific person. That’s her decision. Her relationship with Vince is theirs and when she made it, I have full respect for the decision.”

While Khan isn’t certain about the future, he feels confident that WWE would embrace Stephanie McMahon if she wanted to return to WWE at the corporate level.

“I don’t know what the future holds, but with Vince as the Chairman of the company, Paul (Triple H) the head of creative, me in the role that I’m in, if Stephanie wanted to do something with WWE, of course, WWE would embrace that, the WWE Universe would embrace that. I think she’s enjoying some time off. You know the drill. After grinding hard, as she grinded hard, you take a few months off. She still has school-aged children, she and Paul do. I think she’s enjoying herself.“
