Steve Austin, Undertaker and John Cena are some of the biggest names ever in pro wrestling, but will they be part of WrestleMania 40?

We are in WrestleMania season with about two weeks until the big event. WWE has confirmed around 10 matches, with top names set to compete like The Rock , Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. There are other wrestlers booked, while some are still waiting to hear. As for WrestleMania 40 surprises, we could get that in the form of Steve Austin, Undertaker and John Cena.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted how WWE “will have something at WrestleMania in some form.” He continued how there has been no indication if any of the three will wrestle. If WWE was planning on a huge surprise, they are keeping that information private. Meltzer added how Cena and Austin wrestling has a better chance than Undertaker.

Austin returned at WrestleMania 38 to be a guest on Kevin Owens’ show. Quickly, that turned into a street fight where Austin won. It was about 20 years since his last match because of neck issues. Undertaker has shown the wrestling bug never goes away , although he remains retired following WrestleMania 36’s win over AJ Styles. He will be in the Philly area for WrestleMania week as he continues his live tour. Cena lasted wrestled at Crown Jewel , getting destroyed by Solo Sikoa. The 16 world champion has not won a singles match in like 5 years.

Honestly, WrestleMania 40 looks like a decent card. Brining in any of the names above means full-time talent miss out. WWE has The Rock wrestling, which is more than enough for the nostalgic fans. So, should Steve Austin, Undertaker or John Cena work the WrestleMania 40 card?
