One week after getting some revenge on Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams is set to appear on WWE NXT.

WWE has announced that Williams will appear on NXT tonight (March 12). Williams returned to NXT last week for the first time since being betrayed by Hayes at Vengeance Day.

Hayes vs. Tony D'Angelo was the main event of NXT Roadblock last Tuesday. Hayes was about to win the match but got distracted when Williams' music played. The distraction led to D'Angelo defeating Hayes. By winning, D'Angelo earned an NXT Championship shot against Ilja Dragunov at Stand & Deliver.

Williams then showed up after the match and fought with Hayes.

At NXT Vengeance Day last month, Hayes turned against Williams and targeted his leg with a steel chair attack. It was later revealed that Hayes was also the mystery person who attacked Williams backstage in October 2023.

Williams lost to Dragunov in the main event of Vengeance Day. Earlier in the night, Williams & Hayes had also lost to Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic finals.

Here's the updated lineup for tonight's NXT episode:

  • Trick Williams appears
  • NXT North American Champion Oba Femi defends against Brooks Jensen
  • Shawn Spears vs. Ridge Holland
  • Gigi Dolin vs. Arianna Grace
  • OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) vs. The LWO (Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro)
  • Thea Hail & TBA vs. Kiana James & Izzi Dame
