Representatives from United Japan Pro-Wrestling subgroups participated in a press conference to announce the group’s first two joint events. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Naomichi Marufuji, and Sanshiro Takagi represented NJPW, NOAH, and DDT at the press conference.

United Japan Pro-Wrestling will host “All Together” to celebrate the inauguration of the wrestling group. The company will also donate a portion of its proceeds from the event towards victims of the Noto peninsula who suffered from an earthquake earlier this January. The event will be held on May 6th. The promotions involved in the show include New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Pro-Wrestling NOAH, DDT Pro-Wrestling, DRAGON GATE, Big Japan Pro-Wrestling, and STARDOM.

As of the time of writing, the following matches have been confirmed:

  • Shota Umino, Kaito Kiyomiya, Yuki Ueno vs. Yuya Uemura, Konosuke Takeshita, Shun Skywalker
  • Tomohiro Ishii & Daisuke Sekimoto vs. Jeff Cobb, Masa Kitamiya
  • Hiroshi Tanahashi, Sanshiro Takagi, Naomichi Marufuji vs. EVIL, Ren Narita, Yujiro Takahashi

Some promotions such as TJPW were noticeably absent from the announced lineup. To compensate for their absence, United Japan Pro-Wrestling will hold another joint event on June 15th to include the promotions unable to participate in the first.

Interested viewers may watch the full press conference on New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s YouTube channel linked below. Non-Japanese speakers may follow along through the English translation thread on NJPW’s Twitter.
