If you had plans on seeing one of the company’s top talents in the ring, we have an update on plans for Chris Jericho in AEW.

As many of his fans surely know, Jericho is a man of many talents. That covers both in and out of the ring.

For the purposes of this update, Jericho is focused on life outside of the ring.

Specifically, Chris Jericho is not just a decorated wrestling champion across numerous promotions.

He is also the front man for the rock band Fozzy.

And, as rock bands tend to do, they tour.

Jericho has, for many years, taken time out of the ring to work tours with the band. Even during his WWE runs, he would work around his touring.

And now…Fozzy is hitting the road again.

Update On Plans For Chris Jericho In AEW

So, if you were hoping to see the man known sometimes as Lionheart wrestle in the coming weeks?

Better adjust those hopes and plans.

He will be off of AEW television for at least the next two weeks for Fozzy tour dates.

Not just any tour dates either.

The band has been booked for dates in the United Kingdom, running at least through the end of February.

Tour dates are listed on the band’s website, and were covered by eWrestling.

It is possible that the dates extend into March, but as of this writing, the tour dates page only runs through the end of February.

Assuming the tour does end as February comes to a close, we could potentially see an AEW return in early March.

Of course, there is no absolute certainty Jericho make an immediate return to All Elite Wrestling once things wrap up.

If there are no logical creative plans awaiting him, it is possible that the company gives Chris Jericho an extended break.
