She is one of the more formidable Superstars but she’s been MIA, and we have an update on why Piper Niven has missed time.

Officially, the former women’s tag champion has not worked a match since early February.

She was a non-factor in the lead up to this year’s Elimination Chamber. That’s notable because, while she wasn’t involved, her former partner was.

Of course, Chelsea Green lost the last chance qualifier to Raquel Rodriguez, but that is neither here nor there.

It turns out, there’s a reasone why Piper Niven has missed time.

Update On Why Piper Niven Has Missed Time

According to Fightful, the brawling beauty sustained a hand injury early on in February.

Initial fears were a broken hand.

Thus far, there’s been no indication that she has indeed broken her hand, with the report simply sticking to
“hand injury”.

Niven shared that she and fellow WWE Superstar Tegan Nox recently took in a minor league hockey game. She seems in good spirits, but you cannot see her hands in the shot.

If she does have a broken hand, she may be able to be available by WrestleMania, depending on healing time and whatnot.

The upside for WWE fans is that the women’s locker room has never been deeper, and while fans of hers might miss her, there is talent stepping into the void.

Given it is the Road to WrestleMania, however, missing time is never ideal. If she does only have a broken hand and nothing more complicated, she might be back in a few more weeks.

Missing any time is unfortunate for the Superstar. Considering the depth of the women’s roster, you want to keep working and visible to keep climbing the ladder.

For now, we can simply wish Piper Niven a speedy recovery, whatever the extent of her injury is.
