The wrestling world is still buzzing over the news that former AEW star Jade Cargill signed with WWE. Now, wrestling veteran and former creative head of WCW, Vince Russo commented on the signing.

ESPN was the first to break the news that the former TBS Champion has signed a multi-year deal with the Stamford-based promotion.

During the recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast, Vince Russo was a special guest. He was fascinated by the fan reactions. Many felt that this was a blockbuster signing and that the former TBS Champion was en route to becoming a Megastar. This was mind-boggling for Russo.

He believed that the Stamford-based promotion has not been able to build a proper star in years besides the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. Thus, he was highly doubtful of Cargill becoming a Megastar in WWE.

“I’m reading these comments at 4 AM Dave and I could not help myself. Because the WWE who hasn’t gotten anybody over aside from Roman Reigns since God knows when. Okay… Nobody… Zero. All of a sudden they’re going to make a megastar out of Jade Cargill? I just got to ask the question. Who Dave? Who’s going make this megastar? Trips? Vince? Who’s going to make this Megastar out of her when they can’t make a megastar out of anybody?” Vince Russo said.

WWE’s Chief Creative Officer Triple H also recently had some words of praise for the Stamford-based promotion’s newest signing.

“A dominant athlete who’s here to change the game… Join me in welcoming the newest @WWE Superstar, @Jade_Cargill, to the @WWEUniverse,” Triple H tweeted.

Jade Cargill also revealed that she knows which brand she will show up in and asked the fans to wait patiently.

Do you agree with Vince Russo’s comments about Jade Cargill?
