Watch: AEW star Chris Jericho takes on Will Ospreay in surprise appearance at RevPro

Just 24 hours before AEW All In, Will Ospreay competed in a match against Shingo Takagi for indie company RevPro. During the contest, Chris Jericho made a surprise appearance, taking on Ospreay in front of an electric crowd.

AEW fans aren't incredibly familiar with Ospreay. However, the New Japan Pro Wrestling star has been making spot appearances for the company in recent months. All In will be the second straight PLE Ospreay has participated in, having earlier competed against Kenny Omega at Forbidden Door.

By allowing Jericho to interfere with his match for RevPro, Ospreay has ensured there is another wrinkle in the storyline between him and 'The Ocho.'  Whether or not either wrestler will refer to the interference during All-In will remain to be seen. Nevertheless, the moment was perfect for die-hard fans who are gearing up for the biggest show in wrestling history.

Ospreay is a budding star in the wrestling world. With a contract that is set to expire in six months, the Essex-born wrestler will surely field offers from both WWE and AEW. However, Ospreay's recent inclusion by Tony Khan could give AEW the inside track to adding another elite talent who is already a big fan favorite.

If AEW are also able to retain MJF in January 2024, their roster will boast multiple young star talents, boosted by the recent addition of 'Switchblade' Jay White. AEW is rapidly growing. Jericho has been a significant part of the company's early success. Now, Khan will be hoping that Ospreay is beginning to see his long-term future with AEW, so the company can take the next step in its roster development.

All In will be the perfect platform to show Ospreay, and every other budding wrestler, that they can achieve their dreams with AEW. Performing in front of 80,000 fans isn't something that happens every day and is a testament to the quick rise of the disruptive company.
