William Regal sends one final message to the Blackpool Combat Club in the form of a song dedication.

William Regal will be released from AEW at the end of 2022 as he reached an agreement with Tony Khan that will allow him to go back to WWE in order to be closer to his son, Charlie Dempsey, and continue to help scout and coach talent.

This means, however, that his time as the leader of the Blackpool Combat Club has come to an end and even though it appeared that Regal had returned to his villainous ways by betraying Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear, a video package later showed Regal explaining that he would always be loyal to the group and later reaffirmed at these feelings through a tweet in which he dedicated the song “Far Far Away” by Slade to his former pupils.

To conclude, Regal said they’d all meet again.
