Sami Zayn vs. JD McDonagh took place at the WWE Crown Jewel 2023 premium live event from Saudi Arabia.
The fans were hot for this one right off the bat and behind Zayn as they did some basic moves. After a string of momentum, JD cut him off and began to beat him down. Zayn fought back, avoided a suplex off the top rope and caught him with a clothesline. Zayn caught him with the big boot and blue thunder bomb.
Winner: Sami Zayn
