As many of you saw tonight at the WWE Royal Rumble PLE, Beth Phoenix made her return tonight and she laid out Rhea Ripley as The Judgment Day was attacking her husband Edge.

WrestlingNews.co first reported about plans for Phoenix to return to the ring and tonight was the first step in the setup for a match at the Elimination Chamber PLE. We were told a few weeks back that Phoenix would be teaming with Edge at the PLE next month.

We were also told about plans for Edge to wrestle Finn Balor in a Hell in a Cell match at tonight's show but those plans changed and the match may have been moved to WrestleMania. The plan for next month is Edge and Beth Phoenix vs. Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley.
