WWE Raw takes place tonight at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Sami Zayn will defend his newly won Intercontinental Championship in his home province against Chad Gable on the show. Zayn ended Gunther’s record 666-day reign as champion at WrestleMania 40, in part due to Gable’s training. Gable will get his shot at the belt tonight.
Jey Uso has earned a future title shot against World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. Tonight, Jey will face Priest’s Judgment Day partner Finn Balor.
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes will appear on tonight's show as well. His first challenger at Backlash will be either LA Knight or AJ Styles.
Sheamus returns and has not wrestled since losing to Edge in Edge’s final WWE match in Toronto in August of 2023.
