In life, sometimes, when you least expected, you hit the jackpot. Sometimes opposites attract. This is what WWE got when they messed around and paired Bron Breakker with Baron Corbin together for the Dusty Rhodes Classic. Who would have thought these two would be the perfect complementary piece for one another?

Bron Breakker named their dominant tag team The Wolf Dogs, and they have been nothing but straight-up gold since their partnership, which is why WWE needs to stop messing around and pull the trigger on The Wolf Dogs. First, let’s take a look at the brief history of how the Wolf Dogs started.

How The Wolf Dogs Formed

September 30 at WWE NXT No Mercy, Baron Corbin challenged and beat Bron Breakker in a regular one-on-one match due to interference and distraction by Robert Stone. After gaining Bron Breakker’s respect, Baron Corbin came up with the solution to team together for the Dusty Rhodes Classic during a backstage interview.

Bron Breakker hesitantly accepted the partnership at first. After defeating Gallus in the first round and then Axiom and Nathan Frazer in the second round, they both started to warm up to one another. After their first win, Bron Breakker began to come up with name ideas and came up with the Wolf Dogs. Baron Corbin hated the name, although, during the second match, he said the name was a little catchy.

Since returning to NXT after doing nothing on the main roster, Baron Corbin was hungry for championship gold. That is why he told Bron Breakker that if they can beat Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams in the final, he will consider calling them the Wolf Dogs.

Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin won the final and then defeated The Family on NXT on February 13 to become the new NXT Tag Team champions. Although their time together is brief, why does it work?

Why do The Wolf Dogs work so well?

The Wolf Dogs work so well together because of their chemistry. Both are powerhouses, but Baron has a lot of technical ability, while Bron Breakker brings speed and aggression to the table. Baron Corbin’s veteran instincts and Bron Breakker’s natural skills are just too hard to ignore. Add Baron’s End of Days finisher next to Bron Breakker’s best spear in the business, and you have yourself a dominant team.

This partnership is special because you can tell Baron Corbin loves teaming with the future star of WWE. Baron Corbin also brought out a different side of Bron. Breakker’s wrestling abilities have never been in question, but ever since the Wolf Dogs became a thing, Bron’s character development has increased rapidly.

Apart from their dominance in the ring, their promo skills together are funny and great; they complement each other so well. Now, here is what WWE needs to do.

What WWE Needs To Do

The Wolf Dogs just retained the NXT Tag Team titles against Chase U this past Tuesday at Roadblock. Might I add in dominant fashion again? Bron Breakker is pulling double duty too. The son of Rick Steiner and nephew of Scott Steiner just recently signed to Smackdown. He is currently 2-0 in the main roster.

WWE needs to pull the trigger and bring Baron Corbin with him to the main roster. Have both of them pull double duty at SmackDown and NXT for a while. Once you have a tag team win the titles from them, have Baron Corbin join him for a while. Corbin, the safe hand for Bron Breakker.

Baron Corbin, the Safehand

The Lonewolf is the safe hand for Bron Breakker. He should be on the main roster with him for a while. Then, eventually, the Wolf Dogs can win the WWE Unified Tag Team championships.

Once they lose the titles, Baron Corbin can be Bron Breakker’s first singles feud in the main roster. Baron Corbin is a tested veteran and can help bring out the best in the future star of WWE. Bron Breakker is destined for greatness in WWE. He seems like the next big thing, and what better way to help him than to elevate the Wolf Dogs?
