Though his future may be uncertain, Edge had a successful night as he celebrated the 25th anniversary of his WWE debut.

Edge celebrated the milestone on last night's SmackDown from his hometown of Toronto. He was in action in the main event, defeating Sheamus. Edge's wife Beth Phoenix and their two daughters were in the front row for what could have potentially been his final match.

It took two spears for Edge to put away Sheamus. The two hugged after the match and even had a pint of Guinness together backstage.

This was the last match on Edge's current WWE contract. After SmackDown went off the air, Edge spoke to the crowd and said he doesn't know what the future holds. Edge said he would be talking to his family this week and would see what they want him to do. Edge thanked the crowd and told them that this was the last time he would ever wrestle in Toronto.

A video package celebrating Edge's 25 years in WWE was also shown earlier in the episode.
