Since her injury, she has undergone surgery for a torn MCL, ACL, and meniscus. It was estimated that the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair would be out of action for approximately nine months. Still, she provided an incredible update recently while talking to CNBC Power Lunch.

Charlotte is currently rehabbing the injury, and notes during the chat that she’s “six weeks out” Thursday and ahead of schedule. Flair notes during the interview that all she can think about is returning to action.

She adds that this is because of all the excitement going on in the WWE. From WWE RAW headed to Netflix and WrestleMania 40, it’s been a busy time.

She goes on to say that all she can think about is a WWE return and winning that “number 15”. Flair is referring to the fact that currently, she has 14 title reigns with the company.

She is likely very eager to hit and possibly surpass her father’s record. Currently, Ric Flair and John Cena hold the record for the most WWE Championship reigns in the history of the company, with 16 title runs each, respectively.

Charlotte Flair’s History With The WWE

Charlotte officially signed with the WWE in 2012 and debuted in NXT about a year later in July 2013. She quickly rose to the top, snagging the NXT Women’s Championship, and would head to the main roster in 2015.

During her tenure with the company, Charlotte has “done” it all and has been a trailblazer in women’s wrestling. In addition to being a 14-time WWE Women’s titleholder, she is a two-time NXT Women’s Champion, she’s held the WWE Women’s Tag Titles and was the last talent to hold the WWE Divas Championship before it was retired.

In addition, Charlotte is a Grand Slam and Triple Crown Champion, who was one of the first women to main event WrestleMania (35), along with “The Man” Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey. To round up her WWE accomplishments, she was also the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble winner.
