A former NXT Champion appears to be done as a full-time pro wrestler.

PWInsider reported today that Bobby Roode has been removed from the active WWE roster. Roode was previously listed on the miscellaneous part of the roster but he has been removed. The miscellaneous section is usually reserved for people who ware somewhat still connected with the company like Stone Cold Steve Austin or someone who is out with an injury.

Roode has been working as a producer in recent weeks. No word on if he's going to be working full-time behind-the-scenes but it appears to be the case and he is backstage for tonight's Monday Night Raw.

Roode hasn't wrestled since June of last year when he lost quick match to Omos. Roode had a lot of support from Triple H in NXT and with Triple H running things backstage, it looks like his spot with the company is secure.
