From top to bottom, tonight's AEW Dynamite was one of their best TV shows they've ever done and one of the big stories coming out of tonight's show is Kazuchika Okada aligning himself with The Young Bucks after The Bucks announced that Kenny Omega is fired.

Among those reacting to Okada's signing is WWE star Shinsuke Nakamura. After Okada appeared on the show with The Bucks, Nakamura posted "そうか。" on his Threads account which translates to "Really." For anyone wondering, Nakamura and Okada are good friends.

It was announced in January that Okada would not be renewing his contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Okada is the biggest name ever to leave NJPW to work under a full-time contract for another promotion. At the end of January, he officially became a free agent but he agreed to finish up commitments before signing with another promotion.

WWE had expressed interest in him for years and this year there was a feeling that they had a better shot at landing him. However, at some point in the last few weeks, he decided on AEW. Okada and The Bucks are friends in real life as well, which likely factored into his decision.
