Nick Aldis looks to be on the sidelines for a bit after a highly praised stint as WWE SmackDown General Manager.
Tenure
The former NWA World Champion made his WWE debut in September 2023 on SmackDown as the GM. The former NWA/TNA star had been shadowing to become a producer for the company for several months before the move.
This marks his first run in WWE after years working in the NWA and Impact Wrestling. He is also a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
Injury
Pwinsider reports Aldis was recently injured and is expected to undergo surgery on his arm.
Some believe the injury may be a torn bicep. As of this writing, it’s unclear how he suffered the injury or how long he will be off television.
