Jim Cornette is someone who isn’t shy to share his opinion about anything, including pro wrestling, and has previously criticized Sami Zayn’s work, notably discussing his dislike for the El Generico gimmick.

However, the legendary manager did praise Zayn’s current run with the Bloodline faction during a recent edition of Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru. He noted that Zayn is currently his favorite person to watch on WWE TV.

“Oh, I’ve been feeling Ucey. Let me tell you something. I never thought that I would say this. But I think now Sami Zayn is my favorite person to watch on television. El Generico certainly wasn’t but Sami Zayn is incredible. And this whole thing with The Bloodline and The Usos and Uceys.”

Zayn reacted to Cornette in typical Sami fashion by writing, “My…dawg?”

The Bloodline was victorious at WWE Crown Jewel this past Saturday, with The Usos defeating the Brawling Brutes to retain their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship and Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Logan Paul.
