Xavier Woods is back.

On the January 15 episode of WWE RAW, WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther made his return after he took a few weeks away. “The Ring General” declared for the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble. He then praised Ludwig Kaiser for the aggressiveness he displayed when he took Kofi Kingston out with a vicious attack on the January 8 episode.

Xavier Woods then made his return, as he made it clear he wanted to get revenge on Kaiser for taking out his stablemate in the New Day. He challenged Kaiser to a match, and they battled back and forth in a physical contest. Kaiser threw one of the desk chairs at Woods, but he evaded it. Woods then got disqualified when he slammed the chair onto Kaiser.

The brawl continued, and Woods went to throw the steel steps at Kaiser. Kaiser avoided it and escaped.

Michael Cole noted that Kofi Kingston suffered a cervical neck sprain and he would be out for a few weeks. Kaiser then attacked Woods backstage, but Jey Uso made the save.

Woods had been absent for several weeks, as PWInsider reported that he was taken off the road because he was banged up. Before Monday’s episode of RAW, Woods last wrestled on the November 27 episode of WWE RAW.
