Per the press release, it was revealed that the first line of Playmobil figures from this collaboration will be of Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, the current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, and the late WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.
The CEO of Playmobil, Bahri Kurter, commented on the partnership, noting how it’s another step in their journey for “meaningful collaborations.” He said:
“At Playmobil, we believe in the power of imagination to unlock new worlds. By partnering with WWE, we are celebrating iconic Superstars who have inspired millions across generations, and we are connecting their stories with the creativity and imagination that are the heart of our brand. This partnership is another step in our journey of meaningful collaborations that redefine the role of Playmobil in pop culture.”
The figures will be available starting in July 2026 across North America, Europe, and additional international markets.
Along with this toy partnership, WWE also has its own action figures and playset line with Mattel. WWE and Mattel’s partnership has been around since 2010. Their multi-year extension to their global licensing agreement was renewed in April 2025. It’s worth bringing up that the partnership has broken a record. Per the original press release from April, it was noted that the WWE Main Event Action Figure Series is considered the longest-running continuous action figure assortment in history.
Before Mattel, WWE worked with Jakks Pacific, Hasbro, Toy Biz, and LJN, which made the first-ever WWE action figures. So that’s a little look at WWE’s toy partnerships.
Stepping away from toy news, WWE has an event this weekend, Saturday, November 1. Saturday Night’s Main Event is back, and while it’s not the one where it’s John Cena’s last match, there is the WWE World Heavyweight Title on the line between CM Punk and Jey Uso.
Also, there are three other title matches. Cody Rhodes will be defending the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, Tiffany Stratton will defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill, and Dominik Mysterio has to defend his Intercontinental Championship against both Rusev and Penta.
Don’t forget that, for the first time and going forward, Saturday Night’s Main Event won’t be airing on broadcast TV, but instead it will be streaming on Peacock. The show starts at 7 p.m. ET.
