Which one will finally have some fun again?

Sam Houston has been interesting at times - it lost a heartbreaker to Jacksonville State a few weeks ago - but it’s 0-7, it’s having a hard time keeping up defensively, and it needs to keep a reeling Louisiana Tech sliding.

The Bulldogs were rolling with a 4-1 start, but the offense fell flat against Kennesaw State, followed by an overtime loss to Western Kentucky.

There’s still plenty of time to get two more wins for bowl eligibility, but three of the next four games are on the road, and the home date is against Liberty.

Sam Houston will complete 60% of its passes. It couldn’t throw against Texas or UNLV, but it wasn’t bad against everyone else.

The difference will be the Louisiana Tech defensive front that will get into the Sam Houston backfield enough to keep the Bearkat attack from finding anything that consistently works.

Once again, Sam Houston will be okay for a while, but on the road, it’ll buckle late as the Bulldogs finally pull away.
