The Case for a Ruthless Jade Cargill Heel Run in WWE

Last week on WWE SmackDown, Jade Cargill turned heel for the first time in her WWE career. Cargill made a significant impact by laying a vicious attack on WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. Due to WWE’s plans to push Cargill as a monstrous heel, WWE must conduct her heel run properly. If WWE perpetrates Cargill’s heel run well, she could become SmackDown’s top heel and one of WWE’s most prominent female villains.

How WWE Should Book Jade Cargill as a Heel

After Jade Cargill attacked Tiffany Stratton, she made it clear that she is no longer waiting for opportunities. Cargill lost all of her patience, realizing it had gotten her nowhere. Now, Cargill is all about taking chances when she sees fit, as evidenced by her pursuit of the Women’s Title. Cargill wasted no time beating down Stratton last week by stomping on her leg on the steel steps.

The first thing WWE needs to do for Cargill as a heel is to defeat Stratton for the Women’s Championship. Doing so would elevate her as the star she is, potentially by defeating Stratton, who is a huge babyface. This gives an advantage for their upcoming championship match this Saturday at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Either WWE pulls the trigger in booking Jade to win the title, or they hold that plan until Survivor Series: WarGames.

Instead of playing the typical coward heel and cheating to win, Cargill can become a heel who is arrogant, but backs up their claims. For WWE to cement Jade as a credible heel she is capable of, she has to be the victor in her current rivalry with Stratton.

Jade Cargill must be booked as a dominant champion

Either way, Jade Cargill’s new heel persona has to revolve around her possessing a title. When Cargill wrestled in AEW, she was the AEW TBS Champion. She dominated for a long time, beating anyone who crossed her path. WWE could capitalize on Cargill’s past destruction by setting her up for a long reign as champion.

Cargill can even boost her ego by having too much pride to associate herself with anyone in the women’s locker room. For instance, Nia Jax may enjoy Stratton suffering a terrible beatdown, but Cargill might still resent Jax for constantly costing her the women’s title. Cargill can even show a harsh attitude towards everybody. Cargill can have that aggression that WWE Legend Jazz once portrayed. A mixture of aggression and rudeness can bring so much to her new heel persona in WWE. The scar above her eye gives her a more dangerous look that makes people take her seriously.

WWE Must Give Jade Cargill her Biggest Match to date at WrestleMania 42

In terms of not associating with anybody, Jade Cargill could get a massive test in facing her closest friend, Bianca Belair. WWE can go with the story where Cargill’s only friend is the coveted championship she could win from Stratton. When the time comes, when Belair makes a return, there will definitely be unfinished business. When Belair and Cargill’s former friend Naomi attacked her a year ago, it created tension between the former trio. The last time Cargill encountered Belair, she showed a bit of resentment as she felt she couldn’t trust anybody.

Cargill could also manipulate Belair by guilt-tripping her. She could reference how Belair went to RAW to challenge for the Women’s World Title instead of being there for her during her rivalry with Naomi. Cargill and Belair could face off for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42. If WWE books this match, Cargill should win to elevate her heel run, proving no one on SmackDown can beat her. This accolade could earn her a draft to RAW, where she will face new challengers.
