The Carolina Panthers, with an eye toward next season, re-signed the following five practice squad players to future contracts: RB Josh Vaughan, WR Trent Guy, OL Jacob Bender, DT Tommie Duhart and LB Sean Ware.

The Panthers have an exclusive seven-day negotiating window to re-sign their eight practice squad players which ends this Monday. After that time, the other 31 teams can sign those players.

The Panthers also signed DT Louis Ellis to a future contract, but he did not spend any time with the team previously.
