Boxer Amir Khan had his £72k watch stolen at gunpoint, it has been revealed by The Sun.

Khan, who has been inactive in the boxing domain in recent years, was back in the news as he took to the ring against long-term rival Kell Brook and was stopped in the sixth round of the contest.

Unfortunately for Khan, things have taken yet another drastic turn for the worse, with the fighter having had a gun held to his face while out in public with his wife, with the assailants making off with his £72k watch.

As is written in the report by The Sun, Khan was understood to be crossing the road in East London when he was approached by two men. They pointed a gun in his face and snatched his Franck Muller Vanguard Chronograph watch.

Khan and his wife both made it through the ordeal unharmed, which is the most important thing, but they were understandably shaken up. We can only hope that those responsible are caught and punished by the authorities.
