Ryan Garcia floors Devin Haney, stuns reigning champion

He might not have left with the title, but Ryan Garcia left with more Saturday night.

Garcia stunned reigning WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney in the main event. After 12 rounds of action, Garcia was declared the winner.

Moments into the fight, it was Garcia displaying his power. With one quick hook, he nearly planted Haney, igniting the crowd and supporters. In the seventh, he planted Haney to the canvas with a series of shots.

Despite seeming to be unfocused entering the fight, Garcia was on point throughout. He controlled Haney and dominated the previously unbeaten fighter at times.

The feud between Haney and Garcia dates back to their amateur days. They met six times there, with each fighter winning three matchups.
