Jake Paul disses Tommy Fury following fight withdrawal

Tyron Woodley might have stepped in to duel Jake Paul in place of Tommy Fury, but Paul wasn't going to let the moment go by without throwing some shade in Fury's direction.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer announced on social media on Monday that Woodley will be his opponent in the upcoming bout but also took the opportunity to slam Fury for withdrawing due to an illness.

Warning: Video contains NSFW language.

"The Furys have pulled out of the fight due to a 'medical condition,'" Paul mocked, adding air quotes. "He fumbled the biggest bag of his life, now he'll be watching at home paying me $60 instead of getting paid millions of dollars to fight me."

Rumors Fury would withdraw from the fight began to swirl in November when he came down with a cold that hindered his preparations for the bout. Fury posted a message to social media regarding his withdrawal.

Not surprisingly, boxing followers have taken to social media to weigh in on Fury's withdrawal from the big matchup.

Fury's absence won't keep the upcoming fight from being interesting, though. The stage is now set for a rematch for Woodley, who was defeated by Paul back in August in a split decision.
