We are eight games into the 2023-24 college basketball season for the Kentucky Wildcats, so we are starting to learn more about the true freshman.

This has led to some mock drafts coming out from some different big publications.

CBS Sports recently put out a first-round mock draft that had a few Cats being selected.

Let's take a look at which Kentucky players CBS Sports believes will be drafted in the first round and what team they are going to.

Round 1-Pick 2: Justin Edwards, San Antonio Spurs

Round 1- Pick 12: DJ Wagner, Oklahoma City Thunder

Round 1- Pick 25: Aaron Bradshaw, Indiana Pacers

The two things that quickly surprised me were that Justin Edwards was still listed as the second overall pick and that Rob Dillingham was not listed on this mock draft.

Edwards hasn't quite played up to the hype, but when you watch him play, you know he can do it. Perhaps time is all the talented wing needs.

There is no way there are 30 college and international players better than Dillingham. He had a rough game against UNC Wilmington, but he is an incredible basketball player that will be a first-round pick.

Like always, the Cats will have a bunch of players selected in the 2024 NBA Draft, thanks to all of the young talent John Calipari possesses.

Takeaways from Kentucky's 80-73 loss to the UNC Wilmington Seahawks
