Watch: Oilers chase goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky from Game 4

Staring a sweep in the face, the Edmonton Oilers responded in a big way on Saturday, chasing Florida Panthers netminder Sergei Bobrovsky only minutes into the second period of Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Already trailing 4-1 and following Connor McDavid's first goal of the series 1:13 into the second, things proceeded to get even worse for Bobrovsky just 3:44 later, when Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse increased Edmonton's lead to 5-1. That marked the end of the netminder's evening.

Overall, the Oilers scored five goals off only 16 shots against Bobrovsky, whom they've had trouble solving during the Final. Heading into Game 4, the Panthers goalie had owned Edmonton, going 3-0 (including a shutout) with a .953 save percentage.

It's quite a turnaround for the Oilers offense. After scoring only four times through the first three games, they've surpassed that total in a period and change.

It might be too little too late. But it's a sign of life, which is the best Edmonton can hope for as they attempt to climb out of a steep 3-0 hole.
