Michigan center Hunter Dickinson shocked the college basketball world when he announced he was entering the transfer portal.

On Thursday, he made shocked everyone again by announcing he is transferring to Kansas to play next season. Dickinson made the official announcement on his social media account.

In most of the early preseason polls, Kansas immediately jumped to number one. Dickinson was considered by many to be the number one player in the transfer portal. Kansas was already set up well for next season with players like Dajuan Harris, Nick Timberlake, K.J. Adams, and Elmarko Jackson. Now they add a proven scorer and a big man in the middle. 

Dickinson averaged 18.5 points, 9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and shot 56% from the floor last season. For his career, he has averaged 17.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 57% from the field. Simply put, Kansas is getting a center that has played in big games and put up big numbers. Coach Bill Self has a starting five that will be at the top of the class next season. 

The Blue Bloods of college basketball have re-loaded through the transfer portal and their recruiting classes setting up another great season in college basketball.
