Anthony Edwards may say he doesn't want the Michael Jordan comparisons, but actions speak louder than words sometimes.
After helping to save the Minnesota Timberwolves from a Western Conference Finals sweep in Game 4 with a monster stat line, Edwards summed up a personal driving factor behind his big game. After the game, Edwards pointed out that he's never been swept in postseason play and proceeded to channel his inner Jordan with a comment that came with shades of "The Last Dance."
"I've never been swept in my career...so I took it personal," Edwards said after the Game 4 win.

While the line likely wasn't meant to send the internet back into the Jordan-Edwards debate, the Timberwolves star also proved how badly he wanted to avoid being swept with his on-court performance.
Edwards finished just one assist shy of a triple-double, racking up 29 points with 10 rebounds and nine assists in the 105-100 victory. He and Karl-Anthony Towns, who tallied 25 points on 9-of-13 shooting, led the way for Minnesota.
While their season remains alive thanks to the Game 4 win, the Timberwolves have a massive hill to climb to make NBA history. No team has ever overcome a 3-0 deficit to win an NBA playoff series, but Edwards and company can cut the Dallas Mavericks series lead to 3-2 on Thursday night when they head back to Minnesota for Game 5.
