With Rutgers men’s basketball having success and continuing to build momentum on the recruiting trail, Steve Pikiell has the program on the upswing.

Currently the highest rated commit to Rutgers as of today, Ace Bailey recently highlighted why he chose to commit to Pikiell. He explained in a recent interview with Matt Barnes that it was a “Family” at Rutgers. He also spoke about how the staff and program overall made such a positive impression on his own family.

In recruiting, Pikiell’s power is his sincerity and being genuine in how he presents himself and the program. That’s not nearly as common as you would hope it is in college basketball. He’s stayed the same his entire tenure and continues to grind. Now he’s making traction with elite talent.

In this episode, I also discuss the Jaden Jones news and an update on the overseas trip. In addition, we cover the football game streaming on Peacock this season and multiple Rutgers Olympic sports. That includes the start of thr women’s soccer season and first game of the school year for Rutgers athletics.
