Tonight, former West Virginia guard Taz Sherman will make his debut with the Denver Nuggets in the NBA2K24 Summer League in Las Vegas against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Sherman went undrafted in 2022 but was selected in the first round (19th overall) by the Long Island Nets in the G League Draft. Unfortunately, he was waived one week later and bounced around to a couple of other G League teams before signing internationally with Budapesti Honvéd SE.

In 25 games with Budapesti Honvéd SE, Sherman led the team in scoring (15.8 ppg) while shooting 44% from the field and 41% from the three-point land. He also chipped in 2.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.0 steal per game.

Sherman and the Nuggets tip-off at 5 p.m. EST and can be seen on ESPNU.
