After Kentucky's surprising loss to Oakland in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, there's a somewhat large contingent of Wildcats fans who want to see head coach John Calipari fired.

And one coach that some fans want to see replace Calipari will certainly catch the attention of Tennessee Vols fans.

It looks like some Kentucky fans want Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl to replace Calipari in Lexington.

Pearl served as Tennessee's head coach from 2005 to 2011 before a run-in with the NCAA cost him his job in Knoxville.

If Kentucky fires Calipari, they'll owe the longtime Wildcats head coach a $34 million buyout.

That's obviously a lot of cash to spend to move on from a head coach. But we're only a few months removed from the Texas A&M Aggies firing head football coach Jimbo Fisher despite his $77 million buyout (which makes $34 million seem...reasonable?).

If the noise gets loud enough, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Kentucky pony up the $34 million it'll cost to move on from Calipari.
