Iowa guard Caitlin Clark keeps rewriting the record books.

Against the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes, the three-time All-American sank two free throws at the end of the second quarter, breaking former LSU star Pete Maravich's record for most career points (3,667) in Division I history for men and women. Entering the game, Clark needed 18 points to surpass the 54-year-old mark.

Maravich's oldest son, Jaeson, praised the 22-year-old ahead of her matchup with the Buckeyes.

"What Caitlin's done has been amazing. She's a fantastic player, great for the women's game and basketball in general," he told The Associated Press.

Clark is one of the greatest players in college basketball history, and her impact on the women's game cannot be overstated. ESPN reported that the average ticket price for the matchup between the Buckeyes and Hawkeyes was more expensive than any women's college or WNBA game. The highest listing was $5,199.

Clark recently declared for the WNBA Draft. According to Tankathon, the Indiana Fever will take her with the first overall pick. Don't be surprised if she makes more history at the next level.
