New Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko got his first high school signautre, and it's a big one. Gainesville, FL four-star defensive lineman Kendall Jackson, who was formerly committed to Miami (FL), announced he was flipping to the Aggies for the class of 2024 on Tues.

Jackson has now become the first Aggie to sign, during his signing ceremony at his high school, F. W. Buchholz, and will follow defensive line coach Sean Spencer, who secured his commitment at Miami before joining Elko in Aggieland, to the Aggies to play under Elko.

It's the third flip for Jackson, who de-committed from the Florida Gators on Dec. 2 before committing to the Hurricanes on Dec. 9. Now, he's coming to College Station.

Jackson is ranked as the No. 385 overall recruit by On3 and the No. 38 overall defensive lineman nationally and received offers from Kentucky, Arkansas, UCF, Texas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Nebraska and others.

The Aggies now have the No. 14 recruiting class nationally.

Jackson is 6-3, 250 pounds, and will join Dominick McKinley and Dealyn Evans - who have also committed to A&M - on the defensive line in College Station in 2024.
