Some players hoped into the NCAA transfer portal after Nick Saban announced his retirement, but a veteran leader is prepared to help Kalen DeBoer usher in a new era of Crimson Tide football.

Tyler Booker, a rising junior, is not going anywhere.

The former five-star in 2022 recruiting class is locked in on DeBoer. He shared on social media that he appreciates the opportunity to play for Coach Saban; however, he looks forward to continue the culture under DeBoer. Booker assisted the Crimson Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship and College Football Playoff appearance as an offensive guard in 2023. He is one of three returning linemen — joining Elijah Pritchett and Jaeden Roberts — with marquee experience.

It is good the Tide has Booker on board with DeBoer.
