Marcus Harris is a 2025 four-star receiver who attends Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California.

He is a high school teammate with 2024 Auburn target DeAndre Carter.

Harris is 5-11.5 and weighs 180 pounds.

247Sports composite rankings list Harris as the 41st-best player in the 2025 class.

He recently cut his list of schools down to 12, including Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, Florida, Tennessee, Oregon, Texas A&M, Texas, Penn State, Miami, Oklahoma, and Washington.

It won't be easy to pull a kid all the way from California, but if the Tigers land his teammate Carter in the coming days, perhaps this could be motivation for Harris to play his college football on the Plains.

There is still a long way to go on Harris's recruitment, but a good first step would be to get him on campus for a visit.

Coach Freeze has proven he can develop receivers during his career, so hopefully, this will motivate Harris to choose the Auburn Tigers down the road.
