From High School Stardom to College Dominance

Braelon Allen hails from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. During his sophomore year of high school, he had a standout performance, recording 48 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, and making 3 interceptions. On the offensive side, Allen rushed for 621 yards, scoring 6 touchdowns. 

 Allen was named to the WFCA all-state team for both his offensive role as a running back and his defensive role as a safety in 2021. Demonstrating incredible rushing skills, he amassed 1,039 yards in just seven games with 71 carries. He concluded the season with a total of 23 touchdowns and 135 receiving yards.

He was initially set to join the Wisconsin Badgers in 2022, but Allen reclassified and became part of the team a year earlier, in 2021.

In 2021, Allen played as a running back for the Badgers, participating in 12 games and starting in 4 of them. He accumulated 1,242 rushing yards, with his longest rush being 71 yards, and scored 12 total touchdowns.

Allen took part in a dozen games for the Wisconsin Badgers in the 2022 season. He clocked an impressive long rush of 96 yards, with 1,268 rushing yards, resulting in a total of 12 total touchdowns.

On Pace for an Outstanding Year

Now in 2023, Allen has 371 rushing yards and so far has played in all 4 games of the season. During the September 2 game against Buffalo, he managed 141 rushing yards. He has had 6 total touchdowns so far this season.

In the most recent game against Purdue Allen scored 2 touchdowns with 116 rushing yards.

Braelon Allen has proven himself to be a strong running back and we can't wait to see how he plays in the upcoming game against Rutgers!
