Ben Sinnott is an agile, physical, glass-eating tight end, which translates to his blocking game. One of the more complete tight ends in the class, he’s a football player through and through. Questions about his size were answered at the Senior Bowl, where he impressed with a BMI over 30, recommended for tight ends.
Strengths
- Natural separator. Ben Sinnott is quick in his routes, fights through contact, and his stride is long enough to help him run past unprepared defenders;
- Excellent fluid hips! His size is on the smaller side, but his playing strength is good. Size aids his fluidity and ceiling as a route runner;
- Sinnott tracks well across all levels. He makes plays downfield with skillful hands. He makes film room catches that you can teach a class with;
- Physical player. He looks to deliver punishment as a carrier. Great yards after the catch ability. Seamless transition to a runner;

Weaknesses
- The landing spot is essential for expectations. Ben Sinnott is valuable for running heavy schemes and would be great in a joker role like San Francisco 49er Kyle Juszczyk;
- Sinnott is lacking elite top-end speed;
- His physicality doesn’t carry over to his route running. He needs to be more consistent in press coverage. Physical defenders will move him out of his route;
- He has drops littered throughout his profile. He needs to work on vertical catches;
- He is a tenacious blocker, but his playing strength could be better. Sinnott needs time in an NFL weight room.

Bottom Line on Ben Sinnott
Ben Sinnott is a proven asset as a blocker and a tone-setter for the offense. He is versatile enough to be used across the foundation at the next level and will be valuable to his coaches. They will covet his skill set. He has excellent shiftiness and elite flexibility with his hips. His ability to snap his hips around makes him an effective route runner. The sink his hips can achieve quickly helps him explode out of his breaks. He’s a reliable receiver who makes technical film room-style receptions.
Sinnott plays low in his pads with good contact balance and excellent foot speed. He’s shifty enough to make the initial defender miss, and his quick, natural transition as a runner helps him gobble up yards quickly after the catch.
The biggest question with Sinnott was his size and arm length, both of which proved to be fine at the Senior Bowl. The landing spot is vital for Sinnott. He’d be an asset to the ground game in many offenses across the league, limiting his ceiling as a receiver. Sinnott will be a top-10 tight end if he plays as a receiver on a team with an established blocking tight end.
