DeMeco Ryans gets his opportunity to host arguably the best quarterback in this year’s NFL Draft class.

He and the Houston Texans will have Bryce Young. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network said Young is visiting the Texans Wednesday for his top-30 visits in his draft process. Houston has the No. 2 overall pick, and though Davis Mills returns as its quarterback, Ryans looks to better the roster. He has mentioned Young as being ‘outstanding’ as a quarterback. Ryans, a former Alabama linebacker, has Crimson Tide alums on his roster with John Metchie and Christian Harris. He would enjoy a Heisman Trophy winner as his quarterback, but would Carolina allow Young to go to the Texans? It will be interesting to see how the visit goes.

Young projects as the No. 1 pick in the draft.
