Colorado's Travis Hunter will be out at least three weeks with a lacerated liver. The two-way star suffered the injury in Saturday's win over Colorado State.

Hunter took a blatant cheap shot by CSU defensive back Henry Blackburn after the play and fell to the ground. He returned to the game before heading to the hospital at halftime. 

Dr. Jesse Morse from The Fantasy Doctors explains the contact on the play that Hunter was injured and what comes next for the Buffaloes star player. The position of the blow by Blackburn would suggest that It's likely he cracked his ribs, which damaged his liver in the process. 

What's unknown at this point is if Hunter will have further issues. Dr. Morse says the impact on him being able to fly will also come into question.  

The news of Hunter's injury is significant for the Buffs going into the marquee matchup with No. 10 Oregon. There was a lot of Heisman hype for Hunter going into the Rocky Mountain Showdown. He'll be out at least three weeks for recovery.
