UC wide receiver Evan Prater is just getting started on his journey at that position. The former quarterback has excelled in his chances early on and discussed the nice transition on Bearcat Blitz.

"Felt like there was a lot of natural stuff that came to me but then also just having a lot of guys that have a lot of experience at the position in our receiver room," Prater said. "We got guys that have been doing this my whole life so at first I was really just bouncing ideas off them and seeing what I can do better and that has helped me tremendously."

Prater has eight catches for 71 yards on 11 targets this season as he continues growing at that spot. He has zero drops on the year to round out a strong 72.7 PFF grade.

"It's a great group of guys and everybody wants to see each other win," Prater said about the receiver room. "So having guys like that, it makes it a lot easier for me."

The athleticism is there as Prater continues to soak in all the knowledge he can get.
